Cortés Palace (Market Square)

This is the Cortés Palace, also called Soto Cortés, by the Market Square. According to the Cangas tourism portal, it dates from the 16th century: a rectangular plan, an attached chapel with a belfry and carved wooden eaves.
The same local tourism sources say Queen Isabel II spent the night of 27 August 1858 here, on her way to the sanctuary of Covadonga.
