Back to Sabino Moutas Park

Chapter 9/9 · Pravia

We are back in Sabino Moutas Park, in front of the Tourist Office, where the walk began. They can tell you about other visits in the municipality, such as the pre-Romanesque church of San Juan de Santianes de Pravia, from the 8th century, built by order of Silo and Adosinda and considered the oldest church in Asturias; there is a museum next to it.

Before you go, try the beans from its fertile river plains. Pravia became the leading kiwi-growing municipality in Asturias, in April it holds its Salmon Days, and in August the El Xiringüelu pilgrimage fills the meadow by the Nalón with festivities. Thank you for walking with us through the old court of King Silo!
