This is the chapel of San Sebastián, which together with San Blas is one of the oldest in the municipality. It seems to have been built in the 16th or 17th century, although at the end of the 19th century its facade and interior were completely renewed, with a neo-Gothic arch.
Look at its bell gable, also from the late 19th century, with a single pointed opening for the bell and a top that imitates Gothic pinnacles. Like the other chapels of Tapia, it is made of slate, with whitewashed side walls.
Around it lies the San Sebastián quarter, one of the most typical fishermen's quarters in town. Here you can clearly see Tapia's traditional architecture: simple two-storey houses, whitewashed and with slate roofs, along narrow streets.
Now we cross the quarter southwards and return to Plaza de la Constitución.
